Jan. 13th, 2010 08:41 pmToday in 1733, James Oglethorpe and 130 colonists arrived in Charleston, South Carolina. Every other road, park and building between Charleston and Savannah is now named after Oglethorpe. Talk about stretching your 15 minutes of fame.
I had a vicious headache for most of the day, but it's easing up now. Just in time for me to get some work done before Leverage comes back. I'm ridiculously excited. So is the Beetle. I got the Season One on Blu-ray for Christmas, and he spent the last three days watching. Now he's hooked as hard as I am.
And of course, today's horoscope was once again unnerving:
In the first half of 2010, your calling will be calling to you more loudly and insistently than it has in years. It will whisper to you seductively while you're falling asleep.
