Meltdown

I freaked out today. Didn't sleep last night for thinking about the Bloody Book, then woke up earlyand got busy. Trouble is, I suddenly became frightened that I was making too many changes, and that Tor would take a look and say, "You changed too much. Obviously you don't know how to follow directions. Get lost."

Luckily, Todd knew just what to say. "Call Gwen." Which I did, and Gwen calmed me down, then reassured me and ordered me to take a deep breath and a break. I stopped writing, made a lovely chicken piccata for dinner, and now we're watching Lost reruns. I'll work again tomorrow afternoon, and it'll be better.

I will finish this rewrite. It will be okay, even if Tor turns me down.
