Jun. 4th, 2007 09:16 amI spent last week lying on a beach, drinking rum. And came home to find.... ta da! a package from Tor on my doorstep. My copyedits! I have three weeks to go through the manuscript, make any corrections that are needed, and ship those pages back.
Thank goodness for summer break.
In other news, Martha Alewine, of ETV's "Literary Tour" series, is coming to the house in October to interview me. The series is designed as a "how-to" for students, so it should be fun. When the email came, though, the first thing that ran through my mind wasn't Ooh, I'm going to be on TV! or Ooh, what should I wear? but Oh no, I have to clean my house! I think there's probably enough time between now and October, but still... *grin*
