I had such a good time being interviewed yesterday! The crew showed up a little before 10, beginning with Martha Alewine, who was my interviewer. We spent a little while chatting until Pat Henry and the rest of the folks arrived. I shouldn't have worried about the house - they loved all of my wacky possessions, and used a good many of them for the "set." In the end I sat in my captain's chair in front of my fireplace, with all the candles flickering behind me, and my pirate chest and hats nearby. Once we began filming, I was afraid I was "ummm"ing a bit too much, but they assured me it was fine. I wasn't given a list of questions ahead of time, but that was okay, because I can talk about writing all day long if you let me. In this case, it was more like two hours. *grin* I only had to start over once, when my tongue hung up.

The Literary Tour of South Carolina goes into editing in March, and will be broadcast sometime next school year, but I'll receive a DVD of my own interview. I'm excited to see it! Pat and Martha and the crew all said I did a great job, so I can't wait to see how it turned out.
