Jun. 1st, 2009 09:45 pmToday in 1857, Charles Baudelaire's Fleurs du mal was published. Sometimes I want to grab the little emo teenagers at school, wave this book at them and say, "Nah nah...Baudelaire beat you to it!"
We spent the evening at the high school for the Beetle's academic excellence recognition ceremony. Which left me with a hideous crick in my back from sitting on the bleachers, but it was worth it. He looked so grown up!
So I'll have to tell you about Saturday at the Con tomorrow, because I just am too proud to sit still.
