Dec. 30th, 2009 04:05 pmToday in 1853, a dinner party was held inside a life-size model of an Iguanodon created by Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins and Sir Richard Owen in south London. Suddenly those restaurants that feature complete darkness don't seem so unusual.
I had coffee with my friend Faith Hunter this afternoon, and as usual, left with more writing ideas than I had when I went in. Not that I mind that at all! Keep an eye here to see the results of those ideas...
We're going to attempt seeing Avatar tonight. With any luck the theater has solved that pesky burning-down problem that chased us out the first time. And for those who were concerned, yes, the popcorn gods were appeased last night with the sacrificial consumption of a bag of cheesy Boy Scout popcorn.
