Mar. 18th, 2010 05:11 pmToday in 1997, the tail of a Russian Antonov An-24 charter plane broke off while en-route to Turkey, causing the plane to crash and killing all 50 on board. Or so they say...was there a Benjamin Linus or a Richard Alpert aboard that plane?
Friday is a furlough day (due to state budget cuts, we all have to take them this year.) beatrizwench and faithhunter (who love me more than I deserve, I think. I adore you guys!) I cannot wait! I'll be warm jello when it's over, so don't take anything I post anywhere online tomorrow after 1 pm at all seriously. *smile*
I'm reading War For the Oaks right now, and it is really good. If you like stories of the Seelie Court in modern day America, go get this one. I may end up with another fictional boyfriend when I'm all done. (Yes,beatrizwench, another one!) Did I mention it's good?
Saturday is our usual game night, and I am ridiculously excited. We just finished a war, and my character is now a wanted man, so he's changed his appearance and his job. It's almost like starting a brand-new guy, except at a much higher level. So he's got skillz. On top of that other people are bringing in new characters, too, so it's all shiny and new.
For all my pals who are headed north to ContheCon, have a wonderful weekend! I wish I could be there having fun with you.
