Allons, enfants de la Patrie!
Jul. 14th, 2008 01:27 pmHappy Bastille Day, mes amis!
I don't have any books to recommend today. Mostly because I spent the last several days getting my son ready to go off to Scout camp for a week, and because my glasses no longer work very well. I have an appointment to get my eyes checked tomorrow. Once I can read comfortably again, I'll be reading Obama's The Audacity of Hope (I can't argue with people who claim nonsense in the book unless I've read the book), Liz Williams's Precious Dragon (next in the Inspector Chen series...or next for me, anyway) and F Paul Wilson's Bloodline (A Repairman Jack that I somehow haven't read yet - how on Earth did that happen?)
I'll let you know what I think when I'm done.
