mistymasseyToday in 1776, Benjamin Franklin departed from America for France on a mission to seek French support for the American Revolution. It took a lot of partying to convince the French that Franklin was a good guy.
We danced hard today, but the tips were still below-average. I think the economy has put the damper on people's generosity, and I can't blame them for that. The faire has raised food prices this year, so it's now even more expensive for a family to spend the day there. But despite the low tip ratio, the audiences were great, very noisy and appreciative.
When I got home, Todd was waiting with a fresh pot of coffee and Chinese food for dinner. Have I mentioned how much I adore my husband?
