mistymasseyToday is Afflux, the second holiday in The Aftermath of the Discordian Calendar. I completely forgot to send out my Afflux cards. Darn it.
We decorated the house for Christmas this weekend, me wearing my Pirate Santa hat (it has black fur instead of red) as we worked. I love decorating my tree, because the ornaments are old friends I only see once a year. Some of them have been mine since I was a tiny girl, and others were new last December, but their age doesn't matter. There is no feeling like the incredible sense of home that comes over me when I watch my tree.
