mistymasseyToday in 1812, the French invasion of Russia came to an end, and gave the world one of my favorite pieces of music. Well, yes, it did debut seventy years after the fact, but hey, I wasn't born yet.
It's Friday, at last. I feared it might never get here, the way this week was going. The rain has stopped, there's hot coffee in my cup, and the cookie dough I bought from some band students is calling my name from the freezer, so we'll probably have cookies before too long. Presently I'm waiting for the UPS man to bring my box from Sephora. This is worse than being four years old and waiting for Santa to show up. We have two parties to attend tomorrow night (Todd's work, then a friend's party) and Sunday we're planning on finishing up the shopping. It's such a busy weekend, yet it feels so relaxed.
If you've got twenty minutes, I suggest you spend it listening to my friend, Gail Martin, who is talking to my friend Faith Hunter on her Ghost In The Machine podcast. They're a couple of entertaining ladies, and you'll enjoy the chat!

Date: 2008-12-13 01:35 am (UTC)I have to say, as a guy, I much prefer the new covers to Faith's Rogue Mage Series. :-)
Also, just wanted to mention I thought the deleted scene you provided through Gail's website for those of us who pre-ordered her third Necromancer book through her link was really intriguiging. If that didn't make the cut in the next book I can only imagine how good the parts that did make it will be.
