Today in 1912, Piltdown Man was found in the Piltdown Gravel Pit. He wasn't really the missing link, merely a hoax. While scientists were a bit grumped out about it, I'm sure the ape population breathed a sigh of relief at the news.

Tomorrow is the last day before winter break, and it hasn't arrived a moment too soon. If we all had to be around each other even one more day, I can only imagine the horror. People often mock me for all the school holidays I get, but honestly? It's either give us lots of days off or deal with a school building full of screaming maniacs running up and down the halls.

I'll be dancing in Yasmine's Holiday Hafla this Saturday night, so if you're in the area and need something fun to do, come on out! $5 to get in the door, and there will be door prizes in addition to some great dancing.
