Today in some year, history happened, but I honestly don't have the energy to find it.

We're home from our travels. Christmas was wonderful as always, and the Beetle is completely blissed out with his new Alienware computer. My grandmother behaved more nicely than she has in a while, and we managed to avoid any political discussion (since my parents and I are of opposite opinions politically.) There are major changes coming to my family, changes I hope will result in happiness all around, but we'll have to see how it plays out.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas/Yule/Hanukkah, and that the new year brings joy and plenty to you all.

It was good. Liza got a KitchenAid mixer, so she's baking like crazy. I'm enjoying my new flatscreen TV.

Bettye gave me a pillow that says "I'll have a caffe mocha vodka latte to go, please."

What kind of TV is it? We're looking at getting one very soon, so I'd love to hear your opinion.

An LG 37inch LCD. I like it so far, even though I'm not sure I have it connected right. So many plugs in the back. Spencer got a 42inch plasma TV, which is awesome, just to play XBox on.
