Jan. 5th, 2009 10:16 pmToday in 1932, Italian writer Umberto Eco was born. Oh dear, I guess it's time for my annual attempt at reading Foucault's Pendulum. Every time I try, I get a chapter or so further before leaving the book on the floor and forgetting about it. I want to love it, I do.
Does it seem odd to anyone else that now, at the beginning of the year, when we're all supposed to be planning good things for the future and making ourselves healthy and stuff, that the History Channel is running Armageddon Week? Yes, children, exercise and eat right, for tomorrow the End is Coming!!!
Better look busy.
