Today in 1953, Jackie Cochran became the first woman to break the sound barrier. My sister regularly broke the sound barrier when she was a kid, every time she discovered green beans on her plate at dinner.

I am so yawny tonight. I've managed two pages, but I think I've hit the wall. So here's a nice shot of us at the Drumstrong event on Saturday. I'm the one in red.
