mistymasseyToday in 1948, Columbia Records introduced the long-playing record album. For those of you born in the 80s, a record album was a big round disc that, when placed on a spinning platform called a turntable, would EMIT MUSIC. Seriously. Ask your mom.
I'm a bit of a mess today. I sent my Beetle off on a weeklong wilderness hike in the mountains. He's 16, practically grown, strong and healthy and has been training for this kind of thing for years, but this morning whenever I looked at him, all I could see was my helpless baby boy.
