mistymasseyToday in 1540, Henry VIII of England annulled his marriage to his fourth wife, Anne of Cleves. Considering the many ways he could have chosen to rid himself of her, she was most relieved.
Yesterday I ran across The Significant Objects Project. Several writers have chosen random objects from yard sales or thrift shops and are selling them on eBay with an unusual tale attached. It's an experiment designed to see if an interesting story will increase the perceived value of the item.
I'm highly tempted to buy the brandy bottle.
