Today in 1294, Saint Celestine V resigned the papacy after only five months, He hoped to return to his previous life as a hermit. Can't say I blame him - I've often wished I could go live in a cave.

Last night was just a social whirlwind. My husband's work party was first - dinner and drinks at the Belmont Moose Lodge, followed by dancing to a live band. Unfortunately, the band started too late for us to stick around. We left after dessert to go to the party with the belly dancers, and danced ourselves silly late into the night. Today I'm achy and still a little sleepy, but it was worth it.
