I knew I was under a lot of pressure lately, and when my husband wanted to go to the beach for the day, at first I fought it. "I should stay home and work," I thought. "I can't afford to waste a day away from the word processor." But somehow I managed to shove those thoughts aside, and I let him take me down to Edisto today. I'm home now, slightly sunburned and incredibly relaxed.

I still have a million things on my shoulders, but I don't feel the weight nearly as much. It's amazing how healing sun, sand and waves are to a stressed out pirate captain.
