We took the Beetle back to college on our way home from Dragon*Con yesterday. He had a few things to carry to his room, so we went upstairs with him. When I stepped out of the elevator in his dorm, I hit a slippery patch of laundry soap someone had spilled, twisting the leg with the bad knee and sending me crashing to the floor. I managed to get up, and the pain eased off at the time, but now...wow. Achy, with the occasional sharp reminder that turning any direction at all is no longer on the agenda.

At least it happened after I had to be walking all over Atlanta. *smile*

*laughs* Yep, I often say the same thing. He's studying engineering, and when he shows me his homework, my head spins.

For some reason, I was reminded of something we say to our kids. Hope I can repeat it without offending--"God never drops you. If you fall out of His arms, you land in His lap. If you fall out of His lap, He hackysacks you back into His arms." For some reason, this always brings a quick healing of falls. ;-)

Glad to hear that the Beetle made it safely to college.
