Actually, that shouldn't be a sigh of relief but one of trepidation. I finished the changes Denis asked for (good little writer, me!) and also discovered a few boo-boos that needed fixing along the way. An injured shoulder kept jumping from the right to the left, and I realized that I'd forgotten to lift a spell at the end, one that definitely needed lifting. Yeah, I could have left such things for the copyeditor to find, but I'm sure there's plenty still there.
So I shipped off the new and improved story to Denis last night, and he emailed me this morning to tell me it looked fine, and the next time I saw it, would be in its copyedited form.
I'm shivering with antici....
Say it! say it!
