mistymasseyI just opened my Gmail to find a message from my editor asking for details on Kestrel's clothing and ship design for the art department. You know, the people who will paint the book's cover.
My book. It's going to have a cover.
*insane happy dance*
Yes, I know I'm being silly, but every time I'm reminded that my book is actually going to BE a book, I get so excited it hurts a little. I wonder when this becomes ordinary. Second book? Fourth?

UPDATE: Well, Kim and Faith assure me that it never stops being exciting. And they should know. ;)
