Yesterday there was work drama. My beloved, philipmcavery, assured me that in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't that big of a deal. He reminded me that in the not-too-distant future, I might even be able to stay home and write all the time. Which helped me feel better, until I got here this morning and discovered that none of the drama from yesterday is going to work out in my favor. As a result, I've been somewhat grumpy all day.

Until a few minutes ago, when Holly emailed me to check on the edits. She mentioned she was trying to get David, my editor, to put me on a panel for WorldCon 2008.

Will she succeed? Who knows? But just knowing she's got that in mind gave me such a boost. She rocks. David and Denis rock. philipmcavery rocks. I even rock a little.
