My agent emailed me last night to tell me she'd gotten her advance copy of the book, and to thank me for remembering her in the acknowledgements. As if I wouldn't thank her! Ever since I started this whole novel-writing business, I dreamed of being published by Tor, and she made that happen for me. Yeah, I'd say I'm a bit grateful.
