Spring Break!
Apr. 7th, 2008 01:42 pmI have the whole week off, and unlike most of my coworkers, I am not headed to the beach or Disney World. Staying home for a week is often as delightful as going away, and since I have lots of writing to finish, I'm actually looking forward to this time.
The Beetle and I got up this morning and paid a visit to Barnes & Noble in Pineville NC. I found a bargain-priced hardcover of Kate Mosse's Labyrinth, Barth Anderson's The Magician and The Fool, sale-priced DVDs of Mirrormask and The Tenth Kingdom, and a nifty Tribal Tattoos set to play with this summer. (Or maybe tomorrow night...)
I got home to several emails, including one from Stacy, my marvelous Tor contact, letting me know that Mad Kestrel has been included on Jim Agnew's Daily Book Picks and an article I wrote was featured in Tor's April newsletter. Woot!
Okay, time's up. Must write now. I can't play with my tribal tats until I get a whole bunch of pages done.
