The difference a day makes
Jul. 2nd, 2008 01:52 pmYesterday was pretty awful. I woke up from a terrible nightmare. I didn't have creamer for my coffee. I had written my character into a corner that I just couldn't see any way out of. My legs were aching from all the sitting I've been doing. My laptop started misbehaving, and I fear it's a pretty expensive problem to fix. I went to bed last night in a dreadful funk.
This morning I had my once-a-month massage. Now things just don't feel so bad any more. My legs feel better. I've figured out how to get my character out of the hole she's in. I found a stopgap solution for the computer, and realized I can probably afford to replace it if necessary.
I think all writers should indulge in a regular massage.
