I had an eye appointment this afternoon. Lately my glasses have seemed to be working less well, and I had a feeling my prescription had probably changed. At about 1:45 pm, they dilated my eyes. The blurriness and light sensitivity only cleared about 15 minutes ago. Six hours! And I have brown eyes, which are supposed to return to normal a lot faster than light-colored eyes.

But the good news is that my eyes are healthy, and the doctor sees no reason why I can't try contacts if I want to. Yippee!

I have one August 1. I see my bifocals having to be made stronger. Currently I am -2.75. I love my contacts though - especially for dance.

Don had his eyes dilated Monday. It was the better part of the day before his eyes were back to normal too. He wasn't used to wearing shades, so I had to keep reminding him to keep them on when we got out of the car!
