Two weeks until WorldCon, and I'll admit I'm very nervous. Not about the Con, but about the travelling. I'm not happy to fly, and on top of that I keep worrying that the security people will take away everything I try to bring aboard and I'll reach Denver barefooted, with nothing but my driver's license. *laughs* Speaking of that, I'm flying from Charlotte to JFK, then from JFK on to Denver on the 6th of August. Anyone else flying that same route? Want to get a coffee?

Here's a weird bit of trivia...the new X Files movie comes out tomorrow. All day today, black helicopters have been flying over my back yard. Mulder?

If you're REALLY that anxious about flying, you might ask your doctor to prescribe you some Vallium. My mother is TERRIFIED of flying, but she really wanted to go on this Alaskan cruise with some of my Dad's family. She got the doc to prescrib her her just two pills, one for each day of flight and she said she was much calmer. Only bruised my dad's hand, instead of breaking it!
