Update

I called JetBlue this morning, and was told I could not have a refund because the flight was not cancelled due to weather.  A few minutes later, the phone rang, and it was JetBlue calling me back with a supervisor, who listened to my whole story and immediately issued a refund of my full ticket price. 

I am satisfied, and a little stunned.  Still going American next time, but at least I don't have to wish the fiery flames of doom on JB anymore.  *smile*
