My luggage is finally home, so I feel like I'm finally finished with my gallivanting for the summer. (It rode with
faithhunter across country, to save me the cost and frustration of dealing with it in the airports.) I'll do my laundry this weekend, so I can spend Monday having fun. Sixth graders come in Tuesday, and the others join them Wednesday. At which point I'll begin the countdown to summer again. Don't get me wrong - it's one of the best jobs a writer could have, but I still can't help wishing for the two months that belong solely to me every summer.
