Thursday Thirteen

mistymasseyToday in 1770, James Cook formally claimed eastern Australia for Great Britain, naming it New South Wales. Why yes, he did have a flag.
It's Thursday, so I'm going to play at the "Thursday Thirteen" thing. We'll see how long I keep it up. *grin* This week, my Thirteen subject is...*drum roll*
1. A sunroom for writing (I've wanted one for years, but never have gotten 'round to building it.)
2. A room for my books, with dark curtains and overstuffed chairs to curl into and read
3. A table for the chess set.
4. Hardwood floors in the common areas, with an Oriental carpet on top. (I'm willing to accept laminate floors, too.)
5. A new front door with bevelled glass panes. And one for the back, too.
6. A cement patio out back in place of the old deck that's there now. With a free-standing gazebo to keep bugs away.
7. A Sunchair on a frame under the maple tree in my front yard.
8. New appliances in the kitchen. And more cabinets.
9. And more closets for all the dance and faire garb, while I'm asking.
10. Track lighting in my great room.
11. A bathroom bigger than a closet, with a real tub that I can soak in.
12. A guest room for guests so they don't have to camp out on my couch.
13. A remote control to unlock my front door when my arms are full. (Do they even make those?)
