mistymasseyToday in 1884, Britain ended its policy of penal transportation to New South Wales in Australia. (heh heh heh she said "penal".)
Hanna has weakened to tropical storm status, but I'm still keeping the Beetle home from the planned Scout trip to Myrtle Beach. The governor has issued a voluntary evacuation and the schools in Horry County are closed tomorrow, so I really don't think my teenager should be sleeping on a beach. Even if he is a Scout.
Today was my day to post on Magical Words so if you want to hear my wacky writing stories, go on over.
